简介

 Michael Portillo heads for the Last Frontier of the United States and traces the Alaskan history and Russian legacy there. Running past lakes and glaciers and through mountain tunnels, Michael learns what it took to build this epic railway line. He joins the Arctic Warriors for parachute training and has a magical encounter with cabbage fairies. Then he tries out the Indian sport of Eskimo stick pull.
